HUNROD GOLD is a collaboration between creative entrepreneur Michele Lamy and jewellery designer Loree Rodkin, available exclusively through Carpenters Workshop Jewellery. The series centres on artworks crafted from yellow and white 18-carat gold and ethically sourced diamonds, embodying the spirit of each animal of the Chinese Zodiac. The first sign of the Zodiac, the Rat summarises all the cunning and guile of its token animal, comprising 171 diamonds. People born in a Rat year are said to be versatile and quick-witted, and surprisingly charming. Lamy and Rodkin’s contemporary interpretation of an ancient tradition vibrates with a synthesis of symbolism and style. Custom rings can be made to size upon request within 6-8 weeks.
