Ax Chair by Peter Hvidt and Orla Mølgaard-Nielsen

Designed in 1947 by Peter Hvidt and Orla Mølgaard-Nielsen with production starting in 1950, the Ax chair in teak and beech was produced by Fritz Hansen. It stands as an iconic, sculptural milestone as one of the first chairs constructed using 3D moulded plywood.
