Mond

The design of the Mond Floor lamp takes its inspiration from the traditional amigasa woven hat. The shade is made with handcrafted Kurotani washi paper, allowing the natural fibers of the paper mulberry to be felt. Each sheet of paper is carefully applied to the frame gradually shaping the lamp’s final form, while the underside of the low-profile shade is also covered with washi, creating a quiet, softly diffuse ambience.
